"Explosive indie alternative psychedelic blues and rock power-duo featuring award-winning Australian axeman Gwyn Ashton and UK drummer "Killer" Kev Hickman."

Immediately after a knockout performance at Popkomm ’08 in Berlin which was televised across Europe on ZDFTV, and a Music Live ‘08 performance at the Birmingham NEC, Gwyn Ashton recorded his explosive new album, Two-Man Blues Army. This latest project confirms his song writing, vocals and guitar playing have never been in better form. New life is breathed into the blues as Ashton‘s guitar/drums power-duo crashes its way into the alternative scene, breaking the boundaries between blues and indie, crossing over somewhere between Seasick Steve, The White Stripes and Jimi Hendrix. This blend of great hooky songs and killer playing is hot stuff! Ashton has toured with the likes of BB King, Buddy Guy, Mick Taylor, Peter Green, Canned Heat, Johnny Winter and many others.

Realising at an early age that if you picked up a guitar you got attention, at the ripe old age of three, she got her first guitar, a half size acoustic.
At the grand old age of eight she became the youngest person in the country  pass a
Rockschool grade.
Now described as a "prodigy", a visit from a major label soon followed and at fourteen she was told "great voice, but girls don't play guitar like that!" by the head of their A&R. Their advise to change styles because boys would be intimidated was met with a attitude of "that's their problem! I'm not changing!" Singing and playing on national television and radio soon followed
.Now qualified at grade eight and the holder of the prize for outstanding musicianship at the world renowned
Leeds College of Music for 2006/2007, a chance meeting with a well known local band saw Chantel back at what she does best! - singing and playing with feel to die for.

This has now lead to the formation of the rock/blues trio the “Chantel McGregor Band”
